Depends on whether you intend to upgrade or not, if you are better get a 2nd hand one to gain experience on the road. But if you are rich enuff then get 1st hand lor. Very Happy

if you never tot of upgrading… get a new bike lor… since u would be riding it for long term….(that is provided your budget allows you to do so&#8230 Wink if not get a 2nd one lor…

I tink usually, if buy new bike lose more money... but if you riding 2B bike all the way then invest in something you really like. Cool

But if you never ride before, wat if you start riding then think take bus actually better (raining, danger etc)... then u stuck with expensive bike that cannot sell at price you want. Crying or Very sad

depends on the bike lah (if you found a bike u like... and pretty sure the next upgrade gonna be a class 2 bike.. then ok what buy new bike.. cos most ppl told me ... new bike for at least 3 years .. wont have much problems...

actually when i just got the bike i also think. raining... better take bus..
but then again... u take bus to work it rains... but when u want to go home... not raining.. then sian man got to take bus..

rain the issue is need good rain coat and boot cover... riding part i agree danger... but if you dont cheong and be patient... and dont jamm brakes.. its ok lah...
only inconvenient to wear, take out, dry rain coat, put back in the box..

tell u 1st. MOST ppl that say "i intend to ride 2b for 3-4 years" will upgrade to 2a within 10 months time. dun waste $$ on a 1st hand bike. esp not on a phantom.
